Golden Lynel is a mini-boss The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild This is only seen in the game’s Master Mode (part of The Master Trials DLC).
There are 23 Lynels in Breath of the Wild, and the difficulty increases as you defeat the monsters. Defeating enough enemies will give him 19 Gold in Master Mode out of 23 Lynels. The exceptions are Lynels in Hyrule Castle’s First and Second Gatehouses, Proimos, and the Great Plateau. These lynels are never gold.
