Cyberpunk 2077 It’s not the game you’ve been waiting for. Night City moves, lives and breathes, and someone could bump you or run you over just by standing there. Such a fierce game is unmanageable. So it stands to reason that enemies are less likely to give you space if you are in the open.
The solution to this frenzy is to be as frenzy as the robots and organisms that attack you. For that you will need a submachine gun. Don’t ride out the storm, be the storm. So once you’ve learned that lesson, you should seek out his one of the game’s unique submachine guns and learn which one is best for your build.
Update May 19, 2023 by Sean Murray: The best subby is always a matter of taste, but we’re sure we have the right flavor for you, Chum. So we’ve updated this list with better and more consistent formatting to show where you can get each SMG.
Five problem solver
weapon type |
Power |
---|---|
base weapon |
M221 Saratoga |
symbolic effect |
85-round magazine, greatly increased rate of fire, extreme recoil, terrible spread |
position |
Dropped by the Wraith Boss Hunter during the mission “Riders on the Storm” |
The name Problem Solver is a bit misleading. Ridiculous recoil and terrifying bullet spread It seems to cause more problems than it solves.Ann 85-round magazine nice as well Increased rate of fire (Especially when upgraded to Legendary) But there are other iconic SMGs that are perfect for shooting.
One place for problem solvers Excellence is close combat. No need to reload (or aim) makes this SMG very strong indoors, but again, some of the later items on this list make it even more effective.
Four inlon

---|---|
base weapon |
G-58 Dian |
symbolic effect |
Extra electrical damage, low chance to apply EMP on hit |
position |
Loot specs from Wellsprings, leader of alleged organized crime operations, require Edgerunner Artisan Park |
A combination of smart weapons and submachine guns seems like heaven. I want to use a gun that shoots a lot of bullets, but it often misses. Smart weapons make it almost impossible to missThis fixes one big drawback.
of Electric damage, shock stun and EMP chance all help tooBut this gun has a lot of peculiarities DPS is lower than others, Perhaps to try to balance smart technology. Still, it’s a great weapon for those who think submachine guns are too bouncy.
3 Buzzsaw
weapon type |
Power |
---|---|
base weapon |
DS1 Press |
symbolic effect |
shoot penetrating bullets |
position |
Dropped by the Wraith Boss Hunter during the mission “Riders on the Storm” |
There isn’t much to say about this gun. It’s the DS1 Pulsa that can break through cover. As you start firing bullets and your enemies dive for cover, you’ll find them full of mystery, just like they stood out in the open.
The fact that the Buzzsaw is a powerful weapon also means that a missed bullet can bounce off someone else. Combine stabbing projectiles with flashy bouncesand you have a powerful melee weapon.
2 Fenrir
weapon type |
Power |
---|---|
base weapon |
M221 Saratoga |
symbolic effect |
Deals heat damage, increased chance of inflicting burns, reduced bullet spread, increased recoil, more chance of cutting the target |
position |
It can be found on the table next to the captured monk in the mission “Lose Religion”. |
Don’t be intimidated by one of the gun’s downsides, the high recoil. not so muchand added More than enough damage and reduced spread of bullets.
Incredible heat damage and a high probability of burning Fenrir, Bullet impact literally melts targets that don’t die instantly. The Saratoga’s inherently fast rate of fire means that it will burn you frequently. Even the boss would be on fire.
1 Prototype Shingen Mark V
weapon type |
smart |
---|---|
base weapon |
TKI-20 Shingen |
symbolic effect |
Tracks up to 3 targets and fires explosive projectiles that can burn. |
position |
Arasaka Industrial Park, inside a shipping container marked “667” |
This is another smart submachine gun on the list that really has a personality of its own. Fires an explosive projectile that knocks enemies off their feet, the Shingen Mark V can spread love to up to three enemies at once.
Although its DPS is even lower than Yinglong, Shingen’s ability to control entire crowds makes it an excellent tool for V’s arsenal. When it comes to Shingen, the old adage “spray and pray” is no longer accurate. It’s just “spray and watch everyone die in front of you”.
V is guided to the Arasaka Industrial Park in the mission “Give Danger”, Actually you don’t have to wait for this mission If you head there before the “Gimme Danger” appears, you’ll be able to enter the mostly unguarded park.
just Beware of booby traps.
